Pins

What are Pins ?

Pins are ideas that people on Pinterest find and save from around the web. Each Pin links back to the website it was saved from. If you click through the Pin, you can learn how to make it or where to buy it.

As you discover Pins you love, click the red Save button to save them to your boards. Find the perfect s’mores recipe? Click Save!

If you want to give the Pin a try, go for it. Add a photo of your s’mores on the campfire or a note to show people how it went and add helpful tips for anyone else who might want to give it a go.

Sometimes you’ll find a Pin that you know a friend will love. Send Pins directly to others in a message to pass the inspiration around.

Boards

The Pins you save live on your boards. Name your boards and arrange them on your profile however you want. Invite other people on Pinterest to collaborate on your boards to find even more ideas.

To organize them within boards, create board sections. Add a Tents or Camping hacks section to your Camping board to keep your similar ideas in the same place. There are no rules – organize them in whatever way makes sense to you!

If you prefer to keep your Pins private or your camping trip is actually a sneaky surprise, you can make your board secret. Only you and anyone you invite can see your secret boards.

Profile

Find all the Pins you save, boards you create, and Pins you try, along with who’s following you and everyone you’re following, including boards and topics, in your profile. Anyone can see your profile, but your secret boards will stay hidden.

Your profile is not just a collection of the ideas you love – it’s a reflection of who you are. It’s where all your ideas and inspiration for projects past, present, and future live. It’ll grow and evolve just like you with every one you save.

Creating them is a great way for your business to showcase creativity and own your brand presence on Pinterest.

Pins are ideas on Pinterest that people can discover and save to their boards. As a business, you can create them to advertise your products and exhibit your ideas, and you can link them back to your website. You can create image ones or video ones that will auto play in users’ feeds. If you become an advertiser on Pinterest, you can also create Promoted Pins.
